1. Adj.: Describing a person born between 1 Jan. 1946 and 31 Dec. 1964
2. Adj.: Description of a person, place or thing possessing Baby Boomer je ne sais quoi
3. See also, Boomer, Esq.: A Baby Boomer who is also a licensed attorney (See, e.g., About).
I am an attorney, licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania—i.e. a Boomer, Esq. (get it?). However, you should NOT, under any circumstances, think that anything you read anywhere in this blog is legal advice. You are not my client in any legal matter and I am not your lawyer. In other words, “We do not have an attorney-client relationship.” Anything you write in a blog comment or to me via some other form of communication is not protected by the attorney-client privilege.
You should also not rely on information provided in this blog, or any other, without verifying its accuracy for yourself and for your particular situation. Our goal is to provide accurate information, but we cannot guarantee anything, including information in our posts, guest posts, sponsored posts and hyper-links. It is possible that clicking on a link will take you to a third-party website at which point that website’s policies will control.
Boomeresque is sometimes compensated for writing and posting content, but we don’t sell our soul or reputation. I will disclose when Boomeresque has been compensated (in money or in kind) for a blog post at the end of the post; however, opinions expressed are my own or another author’s unless otherwise designated.
Boomeresque is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. This means that if you click through to the Amazon site through Boomeresque, I will receive a very, very small commission. The Amazon price remains the same whether or not I receive a commission.
We hope you will consider this blog worth following and that you will subscribe to receive updates by e-mail or by RSS and that you will follow Boomersque on Facebook, Twitter and Google+. We also hope that you will be moved to post comments and to share the blog and/or individual posts. This may require us to learn your email address. However, we will not sell or share your contact information with third parties — unless we are ordered to do so by a court or receive a lawful subpoena. (We hate ending up on random mailing lists too!) If you leave a comment on a blog post, you have the option to include a URL to your own blog or website so Boomeresque readers can get to know you better if they want to — BUT YOU DO NOT HAVE TO INCLUDE A URL and you can comment as Mickey Mouse if you want to. When you’ve had enough, I will not be offended (well, maybe a little) if you opt out of notifications from Boomeresque.
